Chapter 8 : Party

Shane decided to approach Marlene after her trip to the doctors.
"So, what was the result...?" Shane asked awkwardly.
 "I'm not pregnant!" Marlene giggled.

She kissed Shane happily, and she was off to celebrate the kids she had and wanted, by sculpting ice sims of them.

However, Athena's didn't go as well as the others.
 So she redid it.
Here are the girls with their sculptures.

Marlene was so bored one day, she decided to repaint one of her favorite paintings.
It was of Jasmine, and at that time, she missed her best friend more than ever.
It seemed like the triplets just had their last birthday, but it was time for their next one.
 Here is Athena.
 Here is Adeline.
 Here is Astrid.
Astrid pulled up a chair at the dining table with her sisters, who where having a hushed conversation.

"Are you sure this is a good idea?"  Athena asked Adeline, looking up from her list of supplies.
"Athena is considering chickening out of the party I'm throwing," Adeline chuckled.
"I'm in as long as you invite Archie Sargent.  He's adorable," Astrid giggled.
Athena grunted to herself as she went back to her list, disappointed her sisters were ready to gang up on her.
"This party's gonna bomb," Athena whispered to Astrid.

"You're no good at whispering," Athena shouted.
 Astrid and Athena giggled.
"My party's gonna rock!" Athena whisper-yelled, careful not to let her mother hear.
"Okay, so if mom and dad leave around five, then we can have the party around six?"  Athena asked.  She was never good at planning.

"Sis, it's like this.  If we don't have the party after seven, then people are going to expect us to give them food, and we all know none of us inherited dad's skills in the kitchen,"  Adeline responded.
Adeline began instantly calling everyone she had met at school.  She may not have the Party Animal trait, but the sisters knew she must have an inkling of it somewhere.
Astrid exchanged a glance with Athena, saying that they both knew something would go wrong.
 Athena sighed in agreement.
"HEY ASTRID!  Turn the radio on!  People are going to be coming soon!"  Adeline shouted as she heard the pizza man pull up.
They had decided to listen to Athena and start the party earlier.
Before long, the party was in full swing, and everyone was dancing.
Astrid and Adeline were dancing with some older kids, trying to improve their reputation.
No matter how strange looking they were.
A boy wandered over to Athena and they started dancing together.  It was extremely out of the norm for Athena, considering she wasn't very outgoing, and preferred to admire boys from a far.
"Erm, I'm Athena Luna.  Who are you.  It's kind of weird dancing with someone whose name you don't even know.
The boy laughed, as if she was trying to be funny
"I'm Archie.  Archie Sargent."
Astrid glared as she watched her sister socialized with, who Astrid though was, the guy of her dreams.
As Archie left, Athena was left standing in the dust.
"What the heck do you think you are doing!"  Astrid screeched.
"I was just chatting with him, no need to flip out.  He's all yours."
"ADELINE!  What do you mean you left with the older kids.  I don't care if they said they would meet you at Column Park.  It's way too late and past curfew--"  Athena tried to finish her rant, but Adeline had already hung up.
But when Adeline got to the park, it was empty.
So she decided to walk back home.
But when she realized how terrified she was to get caught by the cops, she ran.
Unfortunately, she should have been scared, because she was caught, and driven home.

And she ran inside after she got a thorough warning from the cop.

It was a good thing her parent's weren't home!
